Put numbers on toys

00100lPORTRAIT 00100 BURST20191202124426902 COVER

Pick the toys that your child likes (jungle animals, cars, etc.). Next stick numberes on them. Finally, together with your child, put the toys in order. At the beginning use a number line as a guidance. While your child’s confidence grows hide the number line - say “oh, I don’t remember where I put it. Well, that will not stop us! Let’s check if we remember the number in order without it”.
Other ideas: Put numbers on cars and make a race, or stick numbers on soft toys and invite them for tea - in order.

If you like little craft project from time to time make bean bags with numbers. Use any expired grains you have in a pantry. Oh, don’t bother sewing the numbers on! Use fabric glue. It is the best! If you don’t have a fabric, go to your local shop and check their remnants basket.
