Use everyday language to describe the position of objects.
“Wow, look at that pumpkin? Where did you find it?” - asked daddy. “There!”- answered your child “Where? Next to the trailer?”-replied daddy “No, it was behind that man” - replied, child. Remember don’t take “there” or “here” as an answer. Try to get your child to be more precise, help him/her if you have to.
Don't forget the old school "Hide and Seek". Try to hide the teddy, for example, behind the chair. Ask your child to find it and then tell you where was he hiding.
